Tiger Woods was down by three strokes to Vijay Singh coming into the final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship. Vijay, who had just shot a course record, tour record, in the rain the day before. Vijay who is on any given day fully capable of challenging Tiger Woods in a golf match.
But the day belonged to Tiger, Tiger woods would shoot an 8 under 63 to top Vijay by three strokes in the tournament and leave the rest of the field where he’s been leaving them over the past few weeks, in the dust and just scraping for the leaderboard and a share of the money.
Tiger Woods showed us that Sunday’s round was just a fluke, he came out blazing and never looked back, playing the first 7 hole sin 6 under par. He was smashing second shots on par 5′s within 10 feet, like the 3 wood he dropped just 10 feet from the hole while he was 266 yards out. Most people cower in the corner while standing over a shot like that.
Tiger Woods is on a role, we can’t wait to see how he fairs in the next tournament and will be sure to keep you up to date.
