Can Tiger Woods win again? Can he make it five in a row?
After winning the British Open, The Buick Invitational, The PGA Championship, and then the Firestone last weekend, Tiger Woods looks unstopable. But will he tire.
He was on a plane to Ireland to practice for the Ryder Cup team right after his win Sunday and then back to Boston for the Deutsche Bank Championship. Just writing that made me tired.
But no one can deny that Tiger has looked on top of his game and in control of his swing. He’s dominated the field, and played in the clutch better than his oponents. He’s good. That’s that. But can he keep it up.
We think he can. He looks as though he’s finally regained confidence in a swing he changed a few years ago. A swing that was the best in the business before he changed it and now is the best in the business post change. Tiger Woods is the cats meow and that’s all there is to it. He’s got a knack for winning. He’s on a streak and he’s taking anyone and everyone down who stands in his way.
Best of all, he seems like he’s having fun doing it. He’s laughing in post match conferences, and smiling on greens when normally he would be looking towards the ground. He knows he’s on a streak and that’s dangerous. He can be tough to beat when he’s not confident.
Just watch out this weekend. Play starts tomorrow and we expect him to be on the leaderboard all weekend long.
